Transitioning from military to civilian life has proven difficult in the “best of times” for our US military veterans, but Edward Jones has taken a lead in assisting vets by hiring 300 military veterans this year with its new FORCES program. (The 300 are in addition to 1,300 veterans already employed by Edward Jones.)
The FORCES program provides top-notch training and a compensation package designed for veterans wishing to transfer to a civilian career.
The program is structured to allow eligible veterans to use their G.I. Bill benefits if they so desire, but it is not mandatory for program participation.
The amount of the benefit available to the veteran is determined by the Veterans Administration and is paid directly to them during the initial six months of employment and training with Edward Jones. See the details including video here.
