Career History: Hugh has been a recognized leader and executive in the Financial Services and Mortgage Banking industry for over 25 years. In 1988 after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas he took a job as a Regional Sales Director managing a sales force in 14 states. After traveling fulltime for 7 years, he accepted an executive role with a startup company in the wholesale mortgage industry. 9 years later after helping to take the company public and going through three mergers, he decided to accept an offer to begin a career as a Financial Advisor in Scottsdale AZ with Raymond James & Associates.

After developing a rare understanding of the business he decided to pursue his passion for identifying top talent in the Financial Services industry. He began recruiting nationally for uniquely talented individuals looking for the right fit. After developing a name for himself within the industry, he was asked to join Willis Consulting, Inc. in 2012 where he currently acts as a Regional Director of their Scottsdale office. Hugh attributes the bulk of his success to a dedication to candidate service, the ability to think in complex and ever changing situations, strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems. Hugh specializes in experienced financial advisor placement within wire-house, independent, RIA and bank based wealth management channels nationally.

Additional Information: A native of California, Hugh feels right at home in Arizona having resided in Scottsdale for almost 25 years. Hugh and his wife just celebrated their 25th year anniversary and have two daughters. Having spent 2 years in culinary school, Hugh has a passion for cooking for his family and friends. The family loves to hike, ski, golf, and travel.
